Paul's surgery is complete and he is now in recovery. We will get to see him in about an hour when they take him to his room. We spoke to both surgeons and they were both very pleased with the outcome.
We will try to update again later tonight after we find out, in Dr. Kirschner's words, "how mad he is at us". :)

So glad to hear he did well through the surgery. I'm praying for him to be comfortable after he wakes up and pray his recovery will be quick and smooth. I'm sure he will be glad to see your smiling faces and to be held in your arms.
