Post-surgery

Immediately after surgery. We thought we were prepared for what we would see, but I guess you can't really be prepared for this.

Everyone at the hospital was wonderful and took great care of Paul Daniel (and us!) after he was out of surgery and in his room. Still, he looked for protection if the nurses got too close!
