In surgery...

We got to the hospital at 7:15...Paul was a little bit cranky at having to get up so early and go without breakfast, but he eventually calmed down and got happy again. All of the doctors and nurses checked him out and everything looks good. They just took him into surgery at 9:15 Eastern. We expect him to be in surgery for about 4 hours. We will post an update when we hear from Dr. Kirschner after his part of the surgery is complete.

    You are in our prayers and thoughts today, especially! We are so happy about the good news you received from the doctors when you arrived. I've already received several calls from the church this morning (those who don't have internet) thinking about you. Stay warm. We are praying for good reports.
